Long-time ITC student Garrett Metcalf has been selected in the 6th round, 179th overall, in the NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.

Garrett has been a student of ITC since our inception and has also participated in our camps as an instructor for the last 2 years. 

Metcalf, a Utah native, played youth hockey with the Utah Regulators, Omaha AAA and the Colorado Rampage.  Last season he played for the Madison Capitals in the USHL where he went 10-12-4 with one shutout, a 3.26 goals-against average (GAA) and .911 save percentage (SV%) in 33 games.  

The 6-2, 181-pound goaltender is committed to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2015-16.
